An Uneven Experience near the Cathedral
jammed window street noise
The location was certainly central , right next to the cathedral.
The noise from the street was something else. The room faced directly onto the tram lines. I tried to close the window , but it was jammed and quite dirty , so that did not really help. Also , the room seemed a bit run down in general.

the location was central to everything. the staff stored our luggage after checkout, which aided our exploration before a late departure.
the building showed its age with a generally quiet run-down atmosphere.

dirty floor old water
the location was good, it was close to attractions.
i seemed like the room wasnt clean very well. the floor was dirty and it smelled like old water. i had to ask for it to be cleaned again, that wasn't nice.

friendly staff convenient location nearby metro station noisy room thin drywall limited plug
the staff helped hold my luggage. i needed to look around before heading to the airport (that was very kind). the nearby metro station made it easy to walk around. a famous street car also passes not far from the building.
the room was noisy. i could hear sounds from outside and other rooms. the drywall between rooms felt thin, so i could hear neighbors most of the time. there was only one electricity plug in the room.
